Christmas customs and traditions

I want to invite you to visit my website www.geocities.com/customsofchristmas. It is a family-friendly site that explores the origins of many of our Christmas customs and traditions. I'm always looking for ways to improve the site. The only thing I have to watch is bandwidth. I'm not able to move the site to a paying host so I'm stuck. I'm open to any suggestions you may make. Also if you have anything that could be added to the recipes page, fun and games page, or the related links page let me know. I've also created a myspace page, www.myspace.com/sdkluger, that I'm planning to use in conjuction with the site. I plan to do a Christmas blog there. Thanks for looking.

Yes, some of the links going back to where I took some graphics did change. I changed what I could but never found a good one for Blondie. I'm wondering if I should just remove that graphic entirely or just the link.

We're planning to do the Chocolate Mint Snow-tops, Holiday Surprise Cookies, and the S'mores Mix. We usually give some of what we make away to our neighbors.

Please let me know what you think, including changes you think I should make. There are a couple pages that are not posted in the Redesign folder, the Gift Ideas page (it changes often) and the Advent Calendar page (it hasn't been created yet). I hope to move these changes to the live site within the next month or so. One nice thing about this update is that both the navigation area and the right sidebar are contained in separate files. All I have to do is change that file and the change is seen throughout the entire site.

I just posted the new look to CustomsOfChristmas.com this past weekend. I like the way it turned out. It's the best version of the site yet. It's much easier to add pages now (a crafts page is coming next).

You can click on any date up to the current date, i.e. today starting with the first day you can click on any date up to and including the 7th but not any date after that. The Cinnamon Bear advent calendar is now live on CustomsOfChristmas.com. Kids of all ages will enjoy this delightful story of Jimmy and Judy and Paddy O'Cinnamon as they search for the silver star that goes atop their Christmas tree. The advent calendar starts on November 29 and goes through December 24. A big "Thank you!" to Jinglebelle for making the wonderful advent calendar images.
