The book is good... at least from what I remember. It has been almost 4 years since I read it. If I remeber it is more kid focused.

The train scene with Hot Chocolate is my favorite scene in the entire movie.
I have had the book for several years and I was surprised how short the story is but the artwork makes up for it.

i guess something is wrong with me I have the DVD and I can't get into the movie. I have not finished watching it. It is boring to me I guess!! Maybe if I would keep watching it it would get better?

This was the first Christmas book I ever read back in 5th grade. The movie came out that next holiday season. I liked the book but loved the movie

I have the book and the movie and they are very similar....

I loved both....though the movie is COMPLETELY AMAZING...there is still something about READING A BOOK !!!......Guess I am just old fashoined.....but I loved both !!
